We invite you not only into our pots and pans, but most of all to share our culture and experience
When we meet in the kitchen it become an interdisciplinary exchange of ideas about culinary, cultures, habits, traditions, food philosophy, trends…
a significant cultural exchange while cooking, eating and drinking together.
Mauro is Italian, Tze’ela is Israeli. We met in Peru and pursue our love of cooking here in Tuscany.
We are family people who care about traditions
Living in Lucca, in the heart of Tuscany, provided Mauro with deep understanding and knowledge of our region’s great cuisine; having a constant and intensive contact with other cooks, wine producers, farmers, butchers and local women still using traditional cooking methods. Mauro’s dream was to pursue his passion for cooking for his family, friends and guests – and this is his vision and goal when he puts on his apron.
We raise our family (Daniel, Romy & Mia) just outside Lucca (Puccini’s lovely medieval town), between the mountains of Garfagnana and the Tyrrhenian Sea.
